Asian American Poverty

New research from the National Academy of Science has shown that the poverty rate for the Asian American community is higher on the whole than that of white Americans. The gap is, in fact, only furthered by the high cost of living for many Asian Americans: one-third of all Asian Americans live in either New York, Los Angeles, or San Francisco.
